At the June 3, 2022 Board of Visitors meeting, four Chemistry faculty had thier promotions made official.

Marilyne Stains, Ph.D. was promoted to Professor. Prof. Stains joined the UVA faculty in 2019 from the Univeristy of Nebraska. 

Robert Gilliard, Ph.D. was promoted to Associate Professor without term. Prof. Gilliard joined the UVA faculty in 2017.

Charles Machan, Ph,D. was promoted to Associate Professor without term. Prof. Machan joined the UVA faculty in 2016.

Sen Zhang, Ph,D. was promoted to Associate Professor without term. Prof. Zhang joined the UVA faculty in 2016.
