Professor Huiyuan Zhu awarded seed funding from the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office

Professor Huiyuan Zhu was recently awarded seed funding from the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office. 

The funding, which totals $50,000, was awarded for Zhu’s project titled "Enabling a Circuit Economy from CO2 and Nitrate Wastes: Tailoring Single-Atom and Host Metal Interactions for Electrocatalytic C-N Coupling with Explainable AI."

The project demonstrates the Chemistry Department’s commitment to using innovative research to address environmental challenges.
