Graduate student Julia McAfee, a member of the Stains Lab, was awarded an Eli Lilly Travel Award by the American Chemical Society’s Women Chemists Committee. 

McAfee was one of nine women chemists chosen to receive the award for Spring 2025. The program, supported by Eli Lilly and Company, strives to increase the participation of women in the chemical sciences by providing funding for recipients to travel and present their research. 

McAfee will present her research at the upcoming Spring 2025 ACS meeting in San Diego.
