Ph.D. student Kamil Stelmach has received a seed grant from NASA’s SCoPE team.

SCoPE, or the NASA Science Mission Directorate Community of Practice for Education, provides grants to scientists so that they can bring their projects to a national audience. With the help of NASA’s SciAct Team, Stelmach will be able to translate his research to reach wider, more diverse audiences.  

Stelmach is a member of the Garrod Group, as well as the Laboratory for Astrophysics and Surface Physics at UVA (LASP-UVA). Last year, he also won a LaGrange award at the International Space Development Conference. 

Being awarded this grant will allow Stelmach a greater platform to share his excellent work. Congratulations, Kamil, on this wonderful achievement.
