UVA Chemistry Associate Professor Robert Gilliard has been selected to receive the 2022 Lloyd N. Ferguson Young Scientist Award for Excellence in Research, which recognizes a young scientist or engineer (15 years or less in the field) who has demonstrated excellence in scientific research and documented contributions to their field. He will receive the award and give an award talk in the Master Scientist Session at the NOBCChE National Meeting in Orlando on September 29, 2022.
