Mélisse Bonfand-Caldeira was chosen as the second place winner for the 2024 postdoctoral research symposium lightning talk. The UVA Postdoc Association and the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs joined together to host the 2024 postdoctoral research symposium, which was held on Monday, May 20th, 2024 at Alumni Hall. This one day event was a way to higlight the projects of the UVA post-doc community. Mélisse Bonfand-Caldeira presented a lightning talk on the topic "Unveilling the cosmic origins of life". She is currently a post-doc with Rob Garrod.
